I don't think either team would agree to this. I really don't think Butler or Hosmer is going anywhere. Unless the Royals got top pitching for one of them.

Not resigning Reynolds would be a terrible move. The guy has 40 home run power, average OBP, and isn't outrageously expensive. Are we just going to be cheap at the exact same time we've become good enough to compete?

Reynolds was an extremely frustrating guy to watch over a course of a season. I'm just not a big fan of relying heavily on a guy that garners the bulk of his counting stats in a 1/3 of the season. He is an absolute black hole in the line up when he's frigid. I have faith that DD can replace his bat and glove fairly easy.

I really think the only trade that looks even remotely realistic at the moment is Josh Willingham. I could see Britton/Arriet and Avery, + a C prospect for him. Who's at 1B, depends on this happening and McLouth. If DD aquires Willingham, I can see him DH alot, and a little time in LF to get Betemit in at DH some against RH. I think this makes Davis the FT 1B.
