Wada will be given the chance in the rotation once he is done with his rehab starts, but I think Gausman is next in line after that in terms of getting a chance to start.

I think this is the type of situation that will embolden Dan and Buck to call up Gausman sooner than they would have otherwise. Especially if it lingers as Roch speculates it could, beyond a few weeks. But Jurrjens is due a shot or they lose him, so he seems the most likely first.

Hopefully Gausman can play the role of precocious rookie on playoff contender this year, as Manny did so well last year. Might happen a little sooner than it did w/ Manny though!

Did you see how bad Davis was at maintaining his velocity? He might be fine out of the pen but no way you make him a starter.
