Tanner Scott and Cole Sulser traded to Marlins

I like that not only do the O's have a good bullpen right now, 1/2 the Miami bullpen is former Orioles.  Like our bullpen better without Suiser and Scott.

Sulser and Scott both have options.  The O's organization would be deeper if they were still Orioles.  Whether they are in the minors or the majors.   The O's have not had a lot of injuries to the pen.   Ellis, A Wells.  Kremer should be available soon.   The injuries could be a lot worse which would tax the O's pen depth.

Pop added to Suiser, Scott and Bleier already in Marlins bullpen.  Just call them O's bullpen South.

I’d rather have Tyler Wells than Pop, but we could’ve protected him and not a guy like Mattson.

Trading Scott and Sulser made room for Bautista and Perez.  For that alone, I’m happy at this point.  Add the comp pick and I’m really happy.

Apparently Kevin Guiterrez was one of their “top bats” of their class the year he signed. I haven’t seen anything on what the new guy throws. I wonder if we see them crack the FCL roster?

Elias with the draft pick and cost savings alone was worth the trade. Throw in the lottery DSL guys - it’s a big win.

The pitcher is listed 6’2 and 150 lbs, maybe room to get better with weight training and some muscle.

I did not see the game he opened. That’s a good sign then. The velo was there in the Spring. Did it have late movement?
