Hard hit ball but big league shortstops make that play. When you play a AAAA guy at SS late in games, you get AAAA defense.

Why use Tate for the bottom of the order in the 7th, and Baker in the 8th against the top of the order? Why not bring Tate back out for the 8th?

Nope.   They originally scored that a hit, but about a half inning later they changed it to an error on Andrus.   So 0-for.

Geoff Arnold told me that on the radio while I was driving home from work.   I don't know if Kevin and Ben informed the TV viewers of the scoring change because I didn't get home until about the 6th inning.

Why take Baker out after he gets the K? Why bring in Lopez with a runner on 3rd and one out in the 8th?

Yeah, I agree. He didn’t look sharp and then he did, striking out the hitter. Let’s take him out. Huh?

The chances of the that runner on 3rd not scoring is about 1.4%.
