March 10th vs the Jays

Burnes getting battered again.

Following the mlb.com Gamecast - Burnes started, was pulled in the third for McSweeney, and then re-entered the game in the fourth.  Is this common (for a pitcher to be pulled and then put back in the same game)?

Burnes has given up two HRs and raised his already ugly ERA.  Is this the Ace we are depending on?

Another HR for Cowser - hopefully that carries over to the regular season.

The wind must be blowing out to center today.  There have been 4 homeruns so far and each one hit to center field.

Yes. As a matter of fact, in the split squad game that’s being televised from Dunedin, Kikuchi threw close to 30 pitches in the first, giving up a grand slam to Holliday and a solo shot to Santander, so they took him out.  Then he came back out in the second and threw another 25-30 and gave up another run. Tough day.  
 

But yeah they do this often in mid-season ST to ensure they’re getting their ups.

Funny how that play by Mountcastle at 1B just now sounded nearly identical to a play just made by Mayo at 1B up in Dunedin!
