I think its an earned run because the inning wasn't extended by the error. It was ruled a hit then an error on the throw.

The run wouldn't have scored if the error wasn't commited. Had the A's hit another single then it would have been earned.

May I ask why you continue to watch an always complain on here night in and night out? ( no beef I just kind of find it amusing and curious).

Because that's what game threads are for. I like baseball and I like the Orioles, but they also drive me insane. When I'm not at a game or watching it with friends the OH serves the role they usually do. I think you'll find that 85% of game threads are people complaining/whining/yelling. Especially after a crapfest like last night.

At the end of the day it's all in good humor.

It should still be uneraned though, because the error gave him an extra base, and he scored on the single, which he would not have if not for the error.
