Buck has really used Matusz sparingly over the last three months. I'm not sure why, since he has pitched very well.

Tillman does. One of the things they modified with his delivery/mechanics. I've seen a couple people argue it's not a true stretch position, but when a RHP has his toes pointing towards third base at the start of his delivery it's the stretch position imo. The Cubs had Arrieta do the same thing after they got him from us with some initial success. It simplifies things. There are other pitchers that do it as well. I can't thing of one off the top of my head, but there are probably quite a few.

What's concerning to me is that Brian really hasn't shown great velocity in his short spurt relief appearances. If he's 91-92 out of the bullpen, well he's probably only 88-89mph as a starter. Hard to win with that stuff, particularly against right-handed batters and getting the ball in on their hands.
