Wow, Trumbo shortened his swing and did not strike out. Almost as improbably as Ubaldo putting up zero walks through 6.

It's not Trumbo that has problems doing that. His swing is remarkably compact for a slugger.

I don't know why Buck didn't bring in Hart to face the two lefties, Murphy and Harper.

I was wondering that myself. I just checked mlb.com to see if he had been optioned or put on the disabled list. Why have a lefty specialist on the team, if not for exactly that situation? The game was still 1-0 when Murphy came to the plate.
