It's a great group to watch and root for; a bunch of young guys who came up together, along with some survivors of the Dark Times, on a mission to turn around a moribund franchise. I really hope that this particular group, with fairly minimal modifications, is able to finish the job; as opposed to requiring a significant influx of mercenary help from the outside. Not that I'd turn the other scenario down, but winning with this group would have a special vibe to it that you wouldn't be able to recreate. -

I made it one move (Tate option) before being instantly wrong about everything lol. Elias is impossible to predict. Always a secret IL or a 3rd catcher move waiting to troll you for daring to predict his moves. -

We still need a backup C and if that backup C mashes like a first baseman and plays first base or DHs on his "off" days, that would be incredible. I would absolutely like to acquire Miller, but the best player I'm trading for him is probably Kjerstad. If they want someone else in the deal, depending on who that is I'm not necessarily opposed to it. -

I definitely do appreciate that about him. Trying to reign in my impatience here a bit after only 1 month of ownership. I see the Bird work those sliders though and I'm like... is this about the sound system?? Jim told him point blank on the broadcast that he needs to upgrade the audio lol. I have no doubt he will. Next promo will be with Roch or KB or something and I'm gonna be like, is this a hint about MASN?? I guess it's kind of impossible for me to escape reading into everything he does. Just jacked up about the potential of what this new ownership group can do. -
Miller already suffered a UCL strain last season, which I believe is why he's in the pen now and not starting this year.
