Didn’t seem like it as he didn’t really do anything much.  He did backup a play in the outfield and threw a frozen rope, one may or two hop to third from deep right center.  Guy’s arm is legit.  Would have loved to see a ball in play but the ump apparently had someplace to be as anything remotely close was a strike. Both teams batters were complaining all night.

Took my 4.5 year old daughter to her first pro baseball game today at Bowie, didn’t stay past the the third inning which is good because they got clobbered. However I was very impressed with Cowser. Had a great eye to draw a walk on four pitches to lead off, a laser of a single and stole a base. He looks to be the real deal and am excited to hopefully see him in Baltimore in mid-late 2023.

I wonder how many OFs gets released from Norfolk this year within the Rizer, Nuestrom, Daiz and Fontana group.

It would definitely be fun to see how Cowser performs getting bumped up one more level.

.483 OBP in about 200 PA at Bowie. Strikeouts are still high (51) for a guy with such a high BA. His BABIP is insanely high right now at .508.

It’s not so far fetched. He’s following the Stowers path from last year. Aberdeen to Norfolk, then the AFL. Stowers had 276 PA in Bowie before he got promoted last year. Cowser is sitting on 209 PA in Bowie.
