He's been behind the fastball and can't lay off the curveball out of the zone. I'm actually surprised he put the ball in play his last time up.

He went back to Baltimore this morning. He has a bulging disk in his back, hopes to be back on Friday.

He should bust Jeter in. He got him to pop out to left earlier. Out over the plate he gets extended.

thats great.... i had one in my lower back and it took me 3 months to be semi normal again.....

That's because Matusz likes to go away and Jeter likes the ball away. You have to go inside to get him out.

If I could locate well, I would never throw him a pitch on the outside corner.

when matusz can consistently hit low and away, he will be the pitcher we all expected him to be. (except to jeter)

The problem there is he leans into it and then looks back at the ump and gives him a "come on man, I'm a tool" look and gets the call. lol

Why would anybody ever throw Granderson a pitch out over the plate. He can't do anything if you give him alligator arms and make him shorten up that swing.
