2 runs on 10 hits after the 5th. How?

Inept situational hitting. Need to go out there with a plan, and our guys didn't. They had yet to figure out that a walk with the bases-loaded some good thing, for example.

Well, they did it twice against Houston. Back to back. I think they know.

I agree with you in general, but Chris Sale rarely walks anyone. You can't just wait around for a walk from him, because more than likely it's not going to happen.

They did not go out there with a plan. Deep man. Deep.

This team is maddening. The chances of getting nothing out of consecutive bases-loaded-less-than-two-out innings has got to be single digits.

They wanted to prove that failing with the bases-loaded one out was child's play, so they failed bases-loaded nobody out on two pitches.

You guys know that Sale has a lot to do with this right? He's very talented.

And that coming into the game the O's were leading the league in hitting with RISP?

But of course none of that matters.

Two things:

1. It doesn't matter that we're facing one of the best pitchers in the game.

2. We need to be better than first in the league in hitting with RISP.
