Orioles sign Mychal Givens

I feel like he has some challenges when we tried him as closer, but did well as a set up.   Should be in a good position to succeed here as currently constructed.

I think this is a better signing than Frazier.  I think another reliever was a good idea.

We spent $23M on three guys who don't really help but wouldn't spend $21M on Bassitt.

I always felt Givens did best as a 5th, 6th and 7th inning pitcher and you absolutely need pitchers for that role in baseball today where starters get praise for five inning starts.

It’s a good spot for him. I figured they would add someone but assumed it would come after another starter.
