Those are averages, right? I seem to recall some samples of Gunnar and Westy both closer to 30 f/s.

It is entirely possible that  am misremembering but I am like, Gunnar sprint speed confident that I saw what I saw.

bWAR has Gunnar way ahead of Witt and #1 overall.

fWAR also has Gunnar #1 and ahead of Witt albeit by a little less than bWAR. Still, he is a full win better than Witt.

Eh, no.  Gunnar is fine. Every player goes through periods of adjustments and just the fact that he figured out LH pitching in less than a year speaks volumes. 

He may very well shaking his head in disappointment, but in either case there has  been more than one instance of him taking an outer third last pitch strike. 
 

He’s a superior player who’s playing at a consistently high level. My comments were in no way meant to treat him down.

bWAR is the inferior WAR, as has been discussed here a lot.

He's having a great year but stats like that are nonsense.

I'm more interested in seeing if Gunnar has a season that outshines 1983, 1984 (look it up) or 1991 Cal Ripken. Gunnar's first two seasons are rhyming with Cal's first two season to a freaky like degree.

I think the greatest Orioles season ever is in play...that'd have to be Cal's 1991 season which is one of the greatest WAR seasons in history, IIRC.

We'll see if he can take down Judge for the MVP award.  That's going to be tough.
