He might get better with age.

As Kazmir’s speed difference has grown, the numbers suggest his trust in the changeup has grown. It’s become more of a strikeout pitch, where earlier in his career Kazmir would allow righties to see a lot of his slider. This could be a coincidence, or this could be very much not a coincidence, but the last two years, Kazmir has shown a reverse platoon split. He’s had some struggles against lefties, but he’s limited righties to a .285 wOBA, and he’s used plenty of this changeup.

$48 million. And yet another opt out. Sounds like the O's will either have to adopt the opt out, or not sign anybody of note going forward. It's here to stay.<iframe style="position: absolute; visibility: hidden; display: block; width: 0px; height: 0px; padding: 0px; border: medium none;" class="twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered" allowfullscreen="true" allowtransparency="true" scrolling="no" id="twitter-widget-0" frameborder="0"></iframe>

I think the owners try and kill it in the next CBA.

I mean it is their own fault for agreeing to the deals but that has never stopped them before.

Lol. If only she knew how humorous this tweet is to the OH.

You don't think she reads the OH?

At this point Chen for 5/100 is looking like market prices. And I'd do that over Kazmir for 3/48.

Not me. I think Kazmir is better than Chen. If Kazmir was two years younger he would have landed a five year deal. Chen lands a deal similar to Mike Leake IMO (5/80).
