Im not as down on JA as most here (but thought his dad was awful) but to me it seems like a non-issue. If anything he might be learning not to seek out the press's attention.

This is all very cool. And as much as we malign everything Angelos, this is another impressive feather to go along with his hiring of Elias. 
 

These are things we said needed to be done and they are. In spite of the well earned negativity, it is worth giving the well earned praise too. 
 

The sale will come and if it is soon, as many hope, it will noted that the franchise was in incredible shape from when he took ever.

So there were blueprints already in existence when Elias started with the O’s?  I guess this Academy wasn’t the brainchild of Elias and Perez, but the previous regime?

This is well worth the investment more than even a big free agent contract. Hats off to the Orioles front office and ownership for making this happen and building a strong talent pipeline where there's talent.

Love these! The Vlad/Cruz/Felix pic is like 3 mini-eras of Orioles baseball. 

And Hanser is a favorite of mine. Fun guy to root for during a couple of the brutal rebuild years. Still wild that he hit .305 (. 751) in 550 AB for us in 2019, good for a tidy 2.7 rWAR.
