Your 2022 FA Wish List

I plan to enjoy the Elias-Correa history and the slim chance a few more months that the 10 best Orioles make a persuasive closing argument the team is as suitable for him as the 70-92 2019 Padres were for Manny Machado.

That there homo sapien Mike Elias only gets one lifetime, one first child to vet and stump for from his adolescence (Elijah Greene will mean nothing to him), and one first-time being a general manager when his team is about to get good and that kid is a grown man.

He's succeeded at convincing the sons of the capital outlay for the DR complex, so there is at least one example of a major financial commitment in his initial few years.

Definitely interested in Syndegaard but it’s not likely he would sign here when he is looking to stay healthy and have a bounce back year.  Likely signing a one year deal somewhere.

A one year deal works for the Orioles. OPACY probably not what he’s looking for to re-establish himself.

I just don’t get the idea of paying but money for one of the SS or third baseman (which is where Seager needs to go) before further evaluation of Henderson and Westburg.

Because those level of guys, who are still that far away don’t/shouldn’t stop you from filling a gaping hole on your ML team. Not only that but one literally can’t have enough SS types. Look around at actual contenders… Seager and Turner, Tatis and Machado, Lindor and Baez.

Or a trade chip reveals itself.  Can't have too much talent.

Sure but all of the SS that will be available have big issues that should stop us from spending big on them.

These guys are going to get monster deals.  I don’t think these are the players you give 7+ year, 9 figure deals too.

Any chance Elias tries to swipe Correa?
