Can't post the screen shot, but Columbe was also just put on the 15 day IL and our ol friend Bryan Baker recalled. So the bullpen depth takes a major hit esp w using a 6 man rotation.

Why wasn't Vespi just recalled since he's replacing an injured player? Baker is.... yeeesh..

Those 30 pitches the other day were a season high so it kind of tracks the inflammation could have been a little bit more extensive than ordinary.

Adds some pressure to Cionel next week vs. Yankees lefty bats.

So, Adley was off yesterday. He's not catching Suarez today. Why are Suarez and Burnes teaming on for their hatred of Adley?

I’m glad that Hays and Mateo are healthy enough to play.  I’ll be watching Hays carefully to see if he looks like he’s playing through some pain (bad idea) or is comfortable.

That’s interesting.  In his career, Fried has a negligible split differential between RHB and LHB.  I wonder if there’s a reason he has a severe reverse split this year, or if it’s just SSS stuff.  That’s very extreme though.   Cowser better have a big night!
