Yo creo en oscilaciones agresivas en la zona de strike . Creo que los dos primeros stikes pertenecen a el bateador. Hay una escasez de power righhanded en la MLB actualmente . Swing duro en caso de llegar a algo.

Swing hard if reaching for something.

At least Adam does that right. :P

According to all reports, Presley had already been signed for next year, along with all the other coaches. Roch's note makes it pretty obvious that something happened - a falling out of somekind maybe? - and Presley decided to step down and maybe leave. For some reason, he suddenly wants out of Baltimore, if not out of the Orioles organization.

That's somewhat surprising. Doesn't Baines still make his home in St. Michael's?

Prefer Brady Anderson myself. His career OBP justifies it.. his ability to individualize routines for players makes it possible.

I just don't get why people think someone's playing record has anything to do with his coaching approach. It's like Joe Morgan... he was the practically perfect player from an advanced metrics perspective. Great defense, unbelievable plate discipline, high percentage player on the bases. But his career as a TV guy has personified the gut-check, be aggressive, clutchy anti-analysis approach. Or Billy Beane - he specifically, willfully goes out to acquire players and build teams based on whatever he wouldn't have done as a player. Beane uses his own career as a player only as a cautionary tale.
