There are just not enough Dook games on national TV. I mean, I'd like to see them 25 times but instead I can only see them 20. Who do I write to complain?

I know, I'm with you..I ache in my heart daily just hoping they'll show a Dook game once in a while to give me a glimpse of what truly is "special".

Clemson got totally screwed there. The inbound pass occurred with 5.0 seconds on the clock. The Clemson player caught the ball, moved behind the line and set himself, shot the ball, and the refs apparently think all of that happened in 0.6 seconds because they gave the ball to dook with 4.4 seconds left. Just an awful, awful call by the refs/timekeepers at the end of the game there, but par for the course in Cameron Indoor Stadium and the All-Carolina Conference.

LOL..MD fans complain about the refs even when they aren't playing...Talk about par for the course.

TTF...This has been talked about before...Duke is the biggest draw in the sport. They are on TV all the time for one reason and one reason only..MONEY!

Hey, bandwagon dook fan, would you like to tell me why I'm wrong? Would you like to tell me HOW IT IS POSSIBLE TO SET, SHOOT, AND MAKE A THREE in 0.6 SECONDS? If you don't, please spare me your condescending remarks about "maryland fans" this and "par for the course" that.

Yes, I'm going to complain about refs in other ACC games, because it's par for the course, and it affects every damn team besides dook and maybe Carolina. I'm sure you don't mind burying your head in the sand when it never goes against you, but it sucks to see a good Clemson team get screwed like that when they should have forced OT there.

I would LOVE to see you defend this call. I'd love it.

Set, shoot and make a 3 in .6 seconds? What are you talking about? I didn't see any of that(i didn't see the whole game)

BTW, .6 seconds is what you need for a catch and shoot.

Yea, it was a bit ridiculous, but whatever, they won. Truth is, neither of these teams are that good. It is good to see Clemson competitive though, even if they are terribly overrated.

He's talking about the Clemson 3 on the inbounds pass from Duke to tie the game.

I have said all year that Duke is not a top 10 but they are definitely a top 20 team and while that is not good for Duke standards, they still have a good team.

Clemson is a solid team as well.

Oh, i honestly don't know...I left the TV for a second and next thing i know, there was 4.4 seconds on the clock. Didn't know why. Wasn't payign attention enough at the time.

But whatever, to blame is on the refs is a joke. Duke may have hit a longer shot at the buzzer or maybe they win in OT.

For Clemson to allow that to happen is a joke and that's why they lost and to put it on anything else is a joke(though typical stuff for this board).

That sucks and all, but you do realize that human beings control the clock, right? Human beings with human reaction times. Either a clock keeper, or the refs themselves (which in a big time conference like the ACC is probably the case, since the CAA has remote clock control for their refs) start and stop the clock. So, a human eye has to process the ball being caught in bounds and press a button which starts the clock. There's generally going to be about a 1/4 to 1/2 a second lag there to begin with. The human response doesn't work all that fast. It's not like the ball has some sort of sensor in it that starts the clock.

I'm not impressed with either team, Clemson isn't that good, but hopefully they'll get in the Tourney with what they've done so far. Duke of course is a tourney team, but like you said not good for Duke standards.

They reset the clock after reviewing it.
