I saw good stuff 92-96 with average breaking stuff currently.   Sure, I think he was the most important player to sign of the three but if he and his agent tried to get greedy and changed their number, too bad.  Now, if he doesn’t sign and could be that Ciolek screwed up or overestimate his ability to negotiate them down.   We will soon find out.   Who signs next?   If it’s Ritchie, I’ll stick with the scenario I mentioned above.

Can't disagree about this.  If he said he'd sign for 2M, they offer it and he backs out, that's on him and his rep.

Well Nolan McClain (sp?) was drafted in 3rd round by us at #81, didn't sign, and now was taken in 3rd round at #91 by the Mets so his gamble on himself didn't pay off. We will see Mr. Baumeister

Pure speculation on my part, but wondering if something popped up on the physical that’s giving the O’s some pause on offering the amount he’s looking for. Hope Forret alone wasn’t our backup plan.

So if my numbers are correct, the Orioles went over their draft money by $87,452 but my math could be off.

Based on what's in the first post, I got that the Orioles went over by $30,100. I assume Forret was the only overslot after round 10? The numbers look good, except that Fruit should have saved us $137,100 instead of $127,700 (177,100 - 40,000 = 137,100)

Not sure how you got the $52 since according to the first post the Orioles only paid people in increments of $100.

Thanks for the check. I'll make some of the changes. But that's only a 10K difference so how are you getting to 30,100?

I redid it and have them at $29,200 over so we're close. lol

When I put the slot numbers on the threads, I went with what MLB posted on the draft tracker.  Last time I do that!
