He's probably a better prospect than given credit for, but until he hits with significantly more power, he'll likely continue to get overlooked and never thought of as more than a utility OFer. It's too bad his glove didn't keep him at 2nd base.

McLouth and Dickerson might be replaced next year by Urrutia and Hoes. Never know. McLouth is having a very good year, but he's still a platoon player. Urrutia's bat might make that combo more valuable than what we have now.

Hoes is 7th in the IL in OBP now. And the guys above him are 5 years older than him on average.

With Urrutia going to Norfolk, couldn't you see somebody in Baltimore (Dickerson, Pearce, Ishikawa) being moved out to make room for Hoes, which in turn would make room for more Urrutia time in the Tides OF? :scratchchinhmm:
