They go along with the herpes

Hey, Mendoza Line ..... want to hear a coincidence ???

By flying out in the top of the 1st inning just now, Derek Jeter is now 0-for-21 with one walk in his last 22 plate appearances.

You know what that means ???

Jeter is now EXACTLY at the Mendoza Line, PART II ...... a .300 on-base-percentage.

Here is everything we gave him according to the Orioles' facebook page:

"For Derek Jeter's last game at Oriole Park, the Orioles presented him with several retirement gifts.

An official U.S. Navy Captain hat presented by Rear Admiral Victorino Mercado.

Jumbo steamed crabs and a specially-crafted and personalized crab mallet presented by Orioles Legend Boog Powell.

A cake in the shape of his iconic #2 jersey made by Sugar Bakers in Catonsville.

A $10,000 donation to the Miracle League of Manasota in Jeter’s name presented by Buck Showalter and Nick Markakis."

The best part is the mallet.

Who needs a mallet to eat crabs?

Not anyone that knows what they are doing.
